This book documents the thirty plus years that I worked as an artist - ceramicist in Australia and the U.K. in words and images. It illustrates the various stages that I took my work through in order to explore the vast creative potential that clay, minerals and heat offer to a person trying to express themselves though their sensory responses to the environment around them. The ceramic process itself offers boundless opportunities for one to continually re create one's artistic destination...the destination being the kiln itself where one can feel huge elation or massive disappointment. Even the latter can bring about a greater understanding of the process and stimulate new directions.
